These beds are pegged together with wooden fasteners--all custom made. There are NO nails or screws in this bed.
This bed belongs to our children. As you can see we customized the head and footboards with their names and a Scripture. Sorry the pics are not so great with all of their 'stuff' on the beds, etc.
